This Mediterranean Olive Tapenade Burger brings bold, briny flavors to a classic favorite. Juicy beef patties infused with garlic and oregano are topped with a rich, savory olive tapenade and creamy feta. A true celebration of Mediterranean flavors, this burger is an irresistible fusion of hearty and fresh.
Prepare the Olive Tapenade: In a food processor, combine the Kalamata and green olives, minced garlic, capers, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, and black pepper. Pulse until the ingredients form a coarse paste. Set aside.
Make the Burger Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Form into four even patties, pressing a slight indentation in the center to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
Cook the Patties: Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
Assemble the Burgers: Place the toasted brioche buns on a plate. Layer each bottom bun with a handful of arugula, then place a burger patty on top. Spread a generous amount of the olive tapenade over each patty and finish with a sprinkle of crumbled feta. Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.

Notes
For a lighter alternative, swap the beef for ground lamb or a plant-based patty.
You can also add sun-dried tomatoes to the tapenade for additional depth of flavor.
