Get your grill or grill pan sizzling at medium-high heat.
Give your salmon fillets a chop in a food processor until they're finely chopped (not pureed!).
It's time to mix things up in a big ol' bowl! Combine the chopped salmon, bread crumbs, dill, green onions, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Give it a good stir!
Shape the mixture into four equally-sized patties. Give each patty a little extra love and care.
Throw those patties on the grill and let them sizzle for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they're cooked to perfection and a little bit crispy on the outside.
Pop your buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until they're just the right amount of toasty.
Let's put this burger together! Place the salmon patty on the bottom bun and add all of your favorite toppings. Finish it off with the top bun.
