Pour diced tomatoes into a blender or food processor; do not drain, and blend until pureed. Transfer pureed tomatoes to a medium-sized saucepan.
Add all other ingredients to a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the sauce begins to boil, stirring often,
Lower heat and let the sauce simmer, constantly stirring until the sauce reduces by at least ⅓. The sauce will thicken as it cools, so stop cooking before reaching desired consistency.
Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the sauce to cool.
Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
