Ingredients
 
 

  • 4 medium potatoes boiled
  • 1 pack bread
  • 2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons mustard seed
  • 2 tablespoons coriander seed
  • 2 tablespoons turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin seed
  • 12 pieces curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoons chilli powder
  • 3 medium green chilli chopped
  • 5 medium green chilli for frying
  • ½ cup coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • ½ cup corn flour
  • ½ tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 small bottle oil as per needed
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
  • 1 cup water as per needed

Instructions
 

  • Smash the boiled potatoes by using the smasher. Heat the pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil to the pan.
  • After the oil is heated, add 1 tablespoon of mustard seed into it. Then add 1 tablespoon of cumin seed, and fry both on medium flame.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and chopped green chili, mix it well and add curry leaves and 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder to the pan.
  • Fry all of them for about 1 minute on medium flame. After that, switch off the flame. This ready masala is then added to our mashed potatoes with salt as per your taste and Coriander leaves and Mix it well.
  • Let’s start to prepare our batter. Take 1 cup gram flour into a bowl and ½ cup corn flour. Add ½ tablespoon baking soda, salt as per taste, and ½ turmeric powder. Mix them well.
  • Then Add water and make a thick batter. Add little water at a time. Make sure the consistency of the batter is perfect.
  • Take our potato masala and make a ball of it.
  • Take a pan and add oil to deep fry our vada. After the oil is hot enough, then take our ball, put it in our batter, and deep well that batter is applied on all sides of the ball at the equal layer. And then add balls to the hot oil. Fry our vada on medium flame until it becomes golden brown.
  • Then fry the green chilli for up to 1 minute on medium flame and sprinkle salt on it.
  • Then serve our vada pav with pav, Green chili, and Red Chilli Powder.
